Dalai Lama : God Creates With Love Not With Anger. So, Logically, God Wants His Children To Be Compassionate Children
Dalai Lama. When you read the name itself a positive feeling is awakened in your body. The term Dalai Lama means, Ocean Guru or Ocean Monk, meaning an ocean of knowledge and guidance. Hence, the positive feeling from hearing those words.
His holiness, the Dalai Lama, reincarnates with a new name and body and is always discovered by the existing Panchen Lama (great learned one). And in turn, the Dalai Lama discovers the reincarnated Panchen Lama when the time comes. The title of the 14th Dalai Lama is taken by Lhamo Dondrub. The current Dalai Lama was found by the 10th Panchen Lama Choekyi Gyaltsen.
Thanks to the immense exposure of social media, Dalai Lama has won his hearts over many across the world. You can find him on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. He charms people with his sweet sense of humor and words of honesty. And probably that is why, he is one of the most accepted spiritual leaders in the world. You can find him express his ideology on issues regarding gender equality, non-violence, economics, science, health, sexuality and many more. All he is trying to do is educate people and spread the awareness and importance of education. And so he did in a recent event in India. The Dalai Lama has been taking refuge in India since 1959. But, he has travelled all around the world to spread his wisdom. He believes that hope and wisdom is key to putting a stopper to all the destructive emotions.
His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, talks about the importance of education at an annual talk conducted by Vidyaloke in Delhi on the 5th of February 2017. The strength of education is something that can vanquish ignorance that leads to the violence we see today. He believes that God has created us to love and be compassionate and that our human brain has the infinite power to do so. But sometimes, we create trouble due to our modern education system. He preaches that we need to move forward and improve our education system to grow our “inner value”. He truly believes in the power of a human brain and encourages in using it in a positive manner.
He doesn’t simply talk about compassion and love, he has implemented so in his life on a much larger and personal scale. The Chinese government has attacked him multiple times with terms like “wolf in monk’s robes”, “demon” and also banned Lady Gaga in China just for the reason that she had met with the Dalai Lama. It all sounds ridiculous and out of proportion but acts more grave than these lead him to fleeing his home to take shelter in India. He now refers to himself as the son of India.
When asked about the hatred he faces by the Chinese government on the show Last Week Tonight with John Oliver he said that he can not stop or prevent them from expressing their opinions all he can do is give back love and patience. He is not all talk.
He knows how to entertain and educate the general public with his charm and wisdom. And his laughter can calm the tensed atmosphere that may come in an interview. It automatically makes us listeners easier to accept his words. All in all, he is a great man who can not be put into words. One must listen to at least one of his talks.
