Kaamyabi Soch Dekhti Hai - Another Masterstroke Deliverance By Mr. Perfectionist
One of the finest actors the nation has ever produced, Aamir Khan with his performances has taken Bollywood and Indian Cinema to some other dimension. With Dangal, the highest grossing movie of 2016 which beautifully depicts the story of the Phogat Sisters, Aamir once again proved his mettle and is all set to create storms in the Indian Television as well.
Indian TV Channel Starplus has always been instrumental in showing that women are not only excellent homemakers but can also conduct themselves exceedingly well in any other field. Starplus in its brand new ad film has roped in Superstar Aamir Khan to bring alive its philosophy of “Nayi Soch”.
The 48 second ad film portrays Aamir Khan as a Sikh man who is a sweet shop owner. He is busy organizing the sweets on his counter when a customer arrives and congratulates him for the grand success of his business. Aamir praises his children and says that it has been possible because of their hardwork and sincere efforts. The customer assumes that Khan is talking about his boys. Aamir then corrects him and tells him that its not his sons but daughters. The film then shows two young girls who are managing the orders. The customer comes out of the shop with a box of sweets and reads the board “Gurdeep Singh And Daughters”.
The ad concludes with the lines “Kaamyabi na ladka dekhti hai na ladki. Kaamyabi sirf soch dekhti hai” (Success does not differentiate between a boy or a girl. Success only sees one’s thoughts.)
The video has been directed by Nitish Tiwari of Dangal fame and is really inspiring. In a country like India where it has always been the responsibility of the guy to take over the family business, the ad is surely going to break the gender stereotyping. The entire content creation is done by Ogilvy & Mather, a marketing and creative company headquarterd at Mumbai.

On being asked for his views Aamir stated, “I think it is a great initiative by Star Plus. The film is a tribute to all the proud dads and their daughters who became the beacons of change."

The ad has already garnered great response and is trending all over the social media with over four million views. Aamir Khan always comes up with ideas capable of leaving a mark in the minds of the spectators to ponder about. The ad campaign is just another such initiative taken by Khan in collaboration with Star India to throw light on one of the nation’s biggest social issue of gender inequality. The video truly celebrates the spirit and beauty of womanhood in every aspect.
